Election General Information
Voting
Only Town of Eastham residents who are also registered voters in the Town of Eastham may vote at town meetings. Non-residents may attend but will not be allowed to vote and will be asked to sit in the non-voters section. If you wish to be added to the town census and to register to vote, the Town of Eastham must be your main domicile (you must reside in the Town of Eastham for more than six months of the year). 2024 Election Dates and Information
The State of Massachusetts will mail out postcards to all registered voters in January to give you an option to Vote by Mail.
We will have the following elections in 2024:
- March 5, 2024 Presidential Primary Election
- May 6, 2024 Annual Town Meeting*
- May 21, 2024 Annual Town Election
- September Primary - Date TBD
- November 5, 2024 Presidential Election
*You must be present at Town Meeting to vote. All other elections - you may vote in person, by mail, by absentee ballot and there will be limited days for Early in person voting for March, September and November. More information will be posted as soon as it is available.
