Do you rely on oil or other fossil fuel for your home energy needs? Would you like to save some money and also make your home energy cleaner? This clinic is for anyone interested in either heat pumps and/or solar for their home. The event will start with an update on incentives and opportunities. Then participants will break into groups where local experts will answer your questions. So bring details about your home, including a recent electric bill. This clinic will help whether you are early in the process or already have bids in hand. Seating for this event is limited to 40 individuals. Snacks will be provided. If you want to know more about how a home solar energy system can save you money while helping the planet, mark October 28th on your calendar. The Eastham Climate Action Committee and partners will conduct “En-Lightened Living - A Solar Workshop for Cape Residents”. Local independent experts and homeowners will provide essential information to answer your questions. The event includes a tour of local homes that have systems in place. “En-Lightened Living” will take place Saturday, October 28, from 10am to 1pm at the Eastham Public Library, with home tours to follow from 2:00-4:00.
