The Select Board will be having a discussion of the proposed warrant articles at their meeting, Monday, March 21 at 5:30 PM. Two issues will be highlighted:

1. The Board wants to know what you think about the possibility of adopting a Community Impact Fee on short-term rental owners who own and seasonally rent more than one property. This additional 3% tax would be added to the rental fee, and would be set aside for affordable housing and infrastructure projects. It can not go into the general fund or operating budget. At this point, we think this would affect approximately 75 property owners. It will not effect residents or taxpayers who rent one property.

2. We will be having a public hearing on the final (draft) budget for next year, both operations and capital at Monday's meeting.

The Planning Board will be holding a public hearing on the four Zoning Articles that are in the Town Meeting Warrant on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at 4 PM in the Earle Mountain Room at the Town Hall.
