[ARCHIVED] Winter Wednesday Instructors Wanted

WW24 Instructors Wanted

Winter Wednesdays is a free community program offering fun, interesting, prosocial, and dynamic classes to the Outer Cape community. In 2024, we will offer classes both in-person and virtually, providing accessibility to anyone wanting to participate. Classes will run for 7 weeks, beginning with the week of January 15th through the week of March 4th. Proposed courses can be offered virtually, day or evening, throughout the week, or in-person evenings from 6-8pm. In-person classes will take place in Provincetown, Truro, Wellfleet, or Eastham. We are actively looking to offer more in-person classes in Truro, Wellfleet, and Eastham, as well as recruiting instructors who can teach courses in Spanish or classes accessible for English Language Learners. The goal is to provide equitable and accessible programming throughout the week to enable everyone in the community who wants to attend a class to do so.

Winter Wednesdays is looking for instructors to share their hobbies, skills, and passions with the community. All submissions must include completed application, resume, and a course syllabus for a 7-week session to be considered. All documents should be filled out and submitted online or sent in an email to WinterWednesdaysCC@gmail.com. The application deadline is November 27, 2023. Instructors will receive a $50 per class stipend for teaching and reimbursement for supplies can be submitted. More information about the program can be found on the website at www.winterwednesdays.org.
