November 3rd - State Presidential Election Update

THE NOVEMBER PRESIDENTIAL BALLOTS HAVE ARRIVED, BALLOTS HAVE ALL BEEN MAILED AND EARLY IN-PERSON VOTING IS IN FULL SWING!!!.

Massachusetts is one of the few states with a state primary held so late that there was a very short window of time to coordinate, print and ship the contents to all the Commonwealth communities, as not all ballots in the Commonwealth are identical.

To date, over 1 million ballots have been mailed. The Town of Eastham received our ballots on Tuesday, October 6th (during our Special Town election).

We have been very busy and thank you for your patience.   A huge shout out of thanks and appreciation to Linda Sassi (assistant town clerk) and Liz Carlson Jones (town clerk administrative assistant) AND to the numerous volunteers and Registrars who have helped get your ballot out.

In Eastham as of 10/28/2020, we have processed 3,096 ballots (this includes all early voting and absentee mail-in ballots as well as in-person early voting.     We currently have 4,607 registered voters.  The deadline to register to vote for this election has passed.

According to WCVB Boston - WE ARE NUMBER ONE IN PERCENTAGE OF TURNOUTS @ 67.06%.       See copy of print on 10/28/2020.
