For Current and Prospective Eastham Residents

If you work, live, or wish to live in Eastham, the town’s “Housing Help” program can assist you in locating and qualifying for housing that is affordable, clean and safe. Options range from living within one of our affordable living communities, to residences developed by Cape-wide housing agencies, to short- and long-term rentals in town-qualified living spaces created by concerned individuals and local businesses.

  1. What is the Eastham Rental Assistance Program?

With funds from the Town of Eastham CPC, the HECH organization administers a Rental Assistance Program to income-qualified households who live or work in Eastham or who have children attending the Nauset School District. HECH is currently accepting applications for this program.

It is the intention of this program to assist households in gapping the difference in rental payments for households at or below 60% of AMI. Applicants will be required to go through a certification process to determine a household’s income and other eligibility requirements. Once awarded in the program participants can access up to $350, for up to 3 years.
