Before an emergency occurs, make sure we have your up-to-date contact information, so we can get in touch before, during and after a storm. The Town of Eastham utilizes the CodeRed notification system. This system is for residents and their families to be alerted of important public safety, weather or other information via telephone/cell phone/email messages. Please visit the CodeRed link and sign up to receive Eastham-specific notifications to stay informed and safe!

How to Sign Up for Eversource Alerts
Log into your Eversource Account, from there you can sign-up to receive outage alerts via a channel of your preference during storms and other outages. Before a storm make sure your current telephone number and email address are updated.
Text Alerts
Opt in for text alerts, with text alerts, you can quickly report an outage (text OUT to 23129) or request updates (text STAT to 23129).
Eversource Mobile App
Download the Eversource Mobile App ahead of severe weather so you can report an outage or view our outage map. The free app is available for download at Google Play and the App Store.

The Eastham Fire Department offers friendly home visits to evaluate your smoke and carbon monoxide alarms as well as inform you of any potential fire or fall hazards within or around your home.
Eastham Police offers visits evaluating the security of your home. PLEASE look and make sure your house numbers are visible from the road. It is imperative for the quickest response during an emergency. Eastham Fire can help to provide visible house numbers. Home visits are free of charge.
