From Eastham Home Rule Charter - 1992

9-5-3  Conservation Commission. 

A seven member Conservation Commission shall be appointed by the Board of Selectmen for three year overlapping terms.  The Conservation Commission shall cooperate with the Planning Board and Board of Health and shall participate in joint meetings with them at least annually.
