Items of interest discussed:
1. Minutes of the December 18, 2007 meeting were approved.
2. All meetings of the WRAB will be posted by Jane Crowley
3. The approved minutes of each meeting will have to submitted to Town clerk at Town Hall by the person who wrote the minutes (see protocol for clerk).
4. Sandy will submit an initiative petition for $6900 for the Town meeting requesting funds to help to educate the public on water and wastewater issues.
5. It appears the water system is no longer on the capital budget for the Town. (after checking by Karl it was put back)
6. Jane Crowley will initiate a voluntary system to pump out septic tanks on a regular basis. The letter will be send periodically to home owners reminding them of the benefits.
7. Amy distributed material on shallow horizontal wells to recycle nutrients from groundwater to use as fertilizer.
8. Karl and Jane submitted comments on the MEP report for Rock Harbor to our consultant.
9. Next Meeting will be 2/12 at noon.
