CPA MInutes 12/08/05
EASTHAM COMMUNITY PRESERVATION COMMITTEE


Meeting:        December 8, 2005

Attendance:     Martin McDonald, Glenn Collins, David J. Skiba, Dianne O'Neill, Cheryl
                Gayle, Peter McDonald, Kathryn Sette, and Sue Horton, Committee
                Members, and Mary Elizabeth Burgess, Town Planner

Minutes of December 1, 2005, meeting were approved unanimously.

Next meeting is scheduled for December 21, 2005, being the public informational hearing, with the next regular meeting scheduled for January 5, 2006, at 5:30 p.m.
The Committee voted to hold future meetings on the first Thursday of every month at 5:30 p.m. commencing with the January 5, 2006, meeting.

Mary Elizabeth Burgess (MEB) stated that Elaine Boyd at Town Hall will do future postings of CPC meetings and legal notices.  Glenn discussed the particulars of minutes to be taken.

The memo to Boards regarding the public informational meeting on December 21, 2005, was discussed, finalized, and approved upon motion by Kathryn Sette, seconded by Sue Horton, and approved unanimously.  Notices shall be sent to all Town Boards by MEB.  Cheryl to contact housing agencies; Kathryn to contact historical agencies; and Glenn to contact open space agencies with which each are familiar.

Newspaper publication for "The Cape Codder" and "The Banner" reviewed.  Moved by Kathryn and seconded by Sue with all members approving.

Protocol for December 21, 2005, public informational hearing discussed and reviewed.
Kathryn moved; Sue seconded; and all members approved that Glenn shall make initial presentation; Cheryl shall run visioning review for audience input; Glenn shall moderate questions.

The needs study of the CPC shall be fostered by the information gathered at the December 21, 2005, informational meeting.

The members reviewed the final draft of the application.  Kathryn moved; Dianne seconded; and all approved the application form for dissemination on or after December 16, 2005, at Town Hall.
